Resumen
La investigación analizará como los grupos terroristas Abu Sayyaf y el Frente Moro de Liberación Islámica influyeron en la intervención de Estados Unidos en Filipinas. Debido a las acciones terroristas desencadenadas por estos grupos, el gobierno norteamericano decide emprender una intervención en Filipinas de carácter militar y humanitario, esto desató una serie de acuerdos que significarían un aumento en la optimización de las Fuerzas Armadas Filipinas y una presencia constante de tropas norteamericanas en este territorio. Además se analizarán las negociaciones y acuerdos entre las partes luego del 9/11; a través de la revisión bibliográfica y el análisis documental a los puntos expuestos anteriormente se puede observar que, existe una relación entre los grupos terroristas y la injerencia norteamericana.
Abstract
The research analyzed how the terrorist actions of the Abu Sayyaf and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front have been influence the intervention of the United States in Philippines. From a series of kidnappings, bombings, beheadings and other actions triggered by terrorist groups; the U.S. Government decides to undertake the military and humanitarian intervention Philippines. This unleashed in a series of agreements that have an impact in the Philippine military spending and a constant presence of American troops in the area. Besides the negotiations and agreements between the parties after 9/11; through the literature review and document analysis to the points above is clear that there is a relationship between Philippine terrorist groups and American interference in Philippines
