dc.description.abstractTo compare the results of magnetic resonance imaging in the diagnosis of acute appendicitis with the gold standard (histopathology or clinical follow-up of the patient) in order to establish the usefulness of it as a diagnostic test and to include it in the study algorithm of this pathology when there is clinical suspicion and a negative or equivocal abdominal ultrasound.eng
