Resumen
El siguiente trabajo de investigación analiza la forma en la que se construye el proceso de individuación del paciente psiquiátrico, desde el ámbito institucional, a través del cine. El análisis surge a partir de comprender al paciente psiquiátrico como un individuo que tiene su acción social inhibida y/o carece de control sobre sus impulsos, además de estar atravesando un proceso médico de forma constante. De la misma forma se parte de las exigencias de la sociedad moderna y la angustia que implican para el individuo moderno. El trabajo se centra en la narrativa fílmica a partir del planteamiento de la catarsis de Cavell (2008), que consiste en que el espectador se identifique con lo retratado en el filme y la reflexión instituya su construcción identitaria. Así mismo se comprende al cine como un producto de una narrativa socialmente situada. Finalmente se concluye en el factor determinante que es la forma en la que el diagnóstico y el tratamiento médico se le brinden al paciente, así como también se determina que la forma en la que la familia interactúa con el paciente psiquiátrico y su patología determina el modo en que este se relaciona consigo mismo y con el mundo.
Abstract
The next investigative work analyzes the way in wich the individuation process of the psyquiatric patient is constructed, from the institutional scope, trough cinema. The analisis comes from the understanding of the psyquiatric patient as an individual that has his social action inhibited and/or lacks control over their impulses, besides going through a medical process constantly. In the same way the requierements of modern society and the anguish that it implies for the modern individual. The work is centered on the filmic narrative starting off from Cavell’s catarsis (2008), wich consists in that the spectator finds identification on that wich is portrayed in the film and the reflection institutes an identitary construct. As well as film is understood as a product from a socially situated narrative. Finally it is concluded in the determinant factor that it is the way in wich the diagnostic and the medical treatment are brought to the patient, as well as it also determines the way in wich the family interacts with the psyquiatric patient and their pathology determines the way in wich they relate with themselves and the world around them.
