In contrast to this, lately Colombia has been characterized by having gaps in its logistics performance, which is reflected in the LPI (Logistics Performance Index), a tool developed by the World Bank that measures the performance of the supply chain of a country. The Government and its ministries have ensured improve the country's competitiveness, and warn a large number of international treaties and agreements that will facilitate the exchange of products with the strengthening of the industry; to which, Colombian companies should direct their efforts and within the organization must take sides in terms of staff training in logistical issues, cost management and process efficiency. Thus, through the realization of a study with the current perception of entrepreneurs in logistics issues, where different variables related to supply chain management are evaluated, it can be holistically understand the problems of the sector, specifically in the agricultural and textile sectorsç: two influential sectors in the GDP, job creators, with lots of associated companies. Similarly, propose improvement measures close to reality, that contribute to the good performance of companies across the course of their supply chain, with activities involved as planning, purchasing, procurement, operations, production, storage, and distribution.
