In Colombia there are some articles and registers of vascular trauma in civilian population, so this essay is to describe the affected population of Kennedy, as a starting point for analytical studies. Methodology: review of the database of patients undergoing surgery in the hospital of Kennedy, which were extracted those with vascular trauma, collection of variables to study and analyze them. Results: We found 1267 patients who consulted for trauma, of which 32 were regularly associated with vascular trauma, underwent surgery (0.3%), the average age was 24 years, most men (84%); 72% were penetrating wounds, 56% were complex injuries, affecting 41% to the upper extremities; Neck injuries almost match the wounds on inferior limb, with 28%, only one case amputation was presented and no mortalities were presented.
