In Colombia, with the migration wave since 2010, a greater burden of health spending has been generated, without having any prior strategies for its management. Objective: The objective of this research was to explore the frequency of immunopreventable diseases in native and migrant population attended in Colombia between 2010 and 2017. Materials and methods: A descriptive, exploratory, retrospective study with a quantitative approach was developed, in which the prevalence of confirmed cases of these in Colombia was described, defining their sociodemographic and health characteristics. The study data were taken from SISPRO. The universe and the population are the confirmed cases of immunopreventable diseases from 2010 to 2017. Results: In total, 905,438 reported cases were obtained in that period, concluding that 99% of the cases are national, with a percentage of 1% foreign cases. 51.9% men and 48.1% women, the most frequent ages were between 6 and 59 years, the diagnoses that were reported more frequently were varicella with 77.9%, parotitis with 7.9% and pulmonary tuberculosis with pertussis with 7.7% each; border areas were identified as the most vulnerable because it is where the largest number of cases is reported, which is related to the entry route to the national territory. Discussion: It was expected to confirm changes in the frequency of immunopreventable diseases associated to the migratory phenomena in the period described; however, no significant differences were found. It is important to clarify that the year 2018 is the one that presents the highest number of reports of this type of imported diseases, however it was not included, since the consolidated data of the source was not available. As a recommendation, subsequent studies that include those periods with probably different findings could be carried out.}, keywords = {Migración}, keywords = {Esquemas de inmunización}, keywords = {Cobertura}, title = {Comportamiento y frecuencia de enfermedades inmunoprevenibles en Colombia según los fenómenos migratorios en los años 2010-2017}, publisher = {Universidad del Rosario}, keywords = {Migration}, keywords = {Immunization schemes}, keywords = {Public health}, keywords = {Vaccination coverage}, }
