abstract = {Through the thesis presented here is intended, by analyzing the recycling sector, show a new way to see a possibility of taking advantage of the waste generated daily. For this we will consider the origin of all plastics and recycling for a deeper analysis and to analyze all the possibilities before us. In addition to this we will consider the plastics used in the industry to conduct studies to achieve a satisfactory outcome of the thesis. Colombia also discuss the history of plastic recycling, plastic studying the development of the sector, the legislation you have and we can get together to analyze the recyclers, as is their problem and the accompanying regulations in order to have the status of waste pickers in Colombia. In order to understand this and all information, statistical data were found represented in graphs that will make information easier for the reader.},
