abstract = {This paper derives from the interest in the growing influence of China in the world, mainly due to its rapid economic growth in recent years and a strict system of regulation by the State. Considering the above, it was essential to analyze the different spheres or context in which this country has developed unnoticed until recently and is now regarded as the next world power. Characteristics of the territory, population, language, politics, economics and other important aspects are included here.

Additionally, some figures and numbers are presented, to clearly observe its evolution over time, its contribution to the global economy, the role of its government, and its current status in terms of technology, science, military and environmental situation, among others.

Thus, after collecting information from various sources, the main strengths and weaknesses of China are analyzed, in order to present an overview on the future of this country and the world, if the situation continues as it is nowadays.
Finally, we reach to some conclusions regarding the previously analyzed and make certain recommendations to cope in a better way the negative aspects that were identified during the investigation.},
