abstract = {Due to the adulteration of taximeters, Bogotans lose around $ 200 billion annually, the Traffic Police imposes 345 subpoenas and social networks have become the most effective means of reporting irregularities. However, citizens still do not know exactly how to identify an irregular taximeter, or what to do if they suspect that the taxi that transports them has an illegal device known as a “doll”. This work makes an investigation around the adulterated taximeters, their manufacturers, their victims, their users and the regulations to combat them. },
