Method: A descriptive cross-sectional study of a sample of workers belonging to private EPS-2012 qualified for painful shoulder pathology of occupational origin. The sample studied was 343 records of workers, representing 2.3% of the occupational diseases and accidents of all qualified pathologies. Results: The diagnoses of painful shoulder encountered are: Bursitis 91.54%, 6.13% Rotator Cuff and other 2.33%. In 100% of cases of secondary accidents rotator cuff them is only practiced X-ray For cases of occupational disease, bursitis and other, laboratories performed in 100% of cases were rheumatoid factor, speed erythro -sedimentación and C reactive protein. The medical consults for physiatry were 100% and 81% orthopedics; 30% performing MRI and CT scan in 44% was necessary. It was performed job analysis using the ANSI method RULA 61% and 32%. Conclusion: With the diagnostic elements used in the rating of the pathologies of painful shoulder in occupational medicine EPS-private, Bogotá (Colombia), 2012, only achieved diagnose and Rotator Cuff Bursitis.
