Resumen
Los repositorios institucionales nacieron como una de las dos vías de materialización del acceso abierto, movimiento internacional que aun cuando tiene sus raíces en los años setenta del siglo xx, se fortaleció en el mundo a principios del siglo xxi con la realización de las tres conferencias de Budapest, Berlín y Bethesda, conocidas como 3B.
Abstract
The institutional repositories were born as one of the two ways of materializing open access, an international movement that, although it has its roots in the seventies of the twentieth century, was strengthened in the world at the beginning of the twenty-first century with the realization of the three conferences of Budapest, Berlin and Bethesda, known as 3B.
