Resumen
El presente artículo ofrece los resultados de una investigación de naturaleza exploratoria y descriptiva acerca del papel y la pertinencia de los medios experimentales en la formación de periodistas como fase previa a la concepción y diseño de un periódico-laboratorio. En la primera fase del estudio, a partir de una revisión documental, se analizan las etapas por las que ha atravesado la formación del periodista y los cambios producidos. Igualmente, se recoge allí la presencia de los periódicos en los planes de formación y se establecen las razones teórico-prácticas que justifican la existencia de periódicos estudiantiles. En la segunda fase, se usó el focus group para identificar las expectativas e intereses de los estudiantes en torno a un periódico digital –laboratorio. Así se encontró, entre otros planteamientos, que: esperan obtener experiencia en todas las fases de producción de este medio; desean aproximarse al mundo laboral pero en un entorno favorable; y creen que este proyecto sería muy importante para dinamizar la enseñanza y aprendizaje de calidad. Igualmente, se concluye que retomar la figura de los medios laboratorios es una oportunidad para congeniar el operacionalismo teórico con el práctico, especialmente si las nuevas tecnologías se incorporan como saber tecnológico transformador.
Abstract
This article provides the results of an investigation of an exploratory nature and descriptive about the role and relevance of ways pilots in the training of journalists as a pre-conception and design of a newspaper-lab. In the first phase of the study, based on a document review, discusses the stages through which has gone through the training of journalists and changes. Similarly, there is reflected the presence of newspapers in the training and establishing the theoretical and practical reasons justifying the existence of student newspapers. In the second phase of the research were used focus groups to identify the expectations and interests of the student newspaper on a digital laboratory. So it was found, among other approaches, that hope to obtain experience in all phases of production in this environment; want to approach the working world but in a supportive environment, and believe that this project would be very important to boost the quality of teaching and learning. It also concludes that pick up the figure of the laboratories is an opportunity for Congenies the operational theory with practical, especially if new technologies are incorporated technological processor like to know.
