Resumen
Este documento constituye el plan de negocio para TreeHouse Kindergarten, proyecto que busca fundamentar la creación de un jardín bilingüe de alta calidad. Se encontrará ubicado en el barrio Salitre El Greco, en la zona occidental de Bogotá, y contará con un énfasis en la educación para la primera infancia en los siguientes niveles: párvulos, prejardín, jardín y transición. Estará dirigido a niños y niñas entre los dos y cinco años, y atenderá en las jornadas completa y media. Para consolidar la propuesta de emprendimiento se llevaron a cabo las etapas que se enumeran a continuación: 1) investigación exploratoria y descriptiva del mercado objetivo; 2) construcción de una matriz con información relevante de los servicios ofrecidos por setenta y nueve jardines bogotanos de alta calidad, y 3) realización de dos encuestas virtuales. Estas últimas, con el fin de conocer las principales necesidades y expectativas de los padres de familia en cuanto al cuidado y educación de sus hijos. La promesa de valor de TreeHouse Kindergarten se basará, de manera importante, en la contratación de docentes calificados con perfil suficiente para implementar el modelo de aprendizaje del educando en la metodología del aprendizaje basado en proyectos (ABP). Se trata de docentes con competencias en planeación, trabajo colaborativo, evaluación formativa e interés por la estimulación artística en el proceso enseñanza-aprendizaje y que posean y amplíen conocimientos, habilidades y actitudes respecto a la ciencia y la tecnología (alfabetización científica).
Abstract
This document presents the TreeHouse Kindergarten Business Plan; creation of a high-quality bilingual kindergarten. It will be in the Salitre—El Greco neighborhood, western of Bogota and will have an emphasis on early childhood education at the following levels: preschool, prekindergarten, kindergarten and pre-elementary. It will be aimed at children, between two and five years old, in the full and part-time basis. To consolidate this entrepreneurship proposal, the following stages were carried out: Research and analysis of the target market; development of a matrix with relevant information on the services offered by 79 high-quality kindergartens of Bogotá; development of two virtual surveys in order to know the main needs and expectations of parents in terms of care and education of their children. The value promise of TreeHouse Kindergarten will be to hire qualified teachers with a profile to implement the learning model Project-Based Learning (PBL) to the student. Teachers with planning skills, collaborative work, formative evaluation and interest in artistic stimulation and with wide knowledge, skills and attitudes regarding science and technology (scientific literacy). The educational institution will strengthen the constructivist principles, that is, children will be more analytical and argumentative, they will think and create in their maximum capacity and will explore their own interests to build knowledge, from the interaction with the environment. Another difference, not less important, will be the creation of alliances with schools, in order to attract the best teachers in specific areas of knowledge.
