Resumen
Las artes marciales mixtas son consideradas el deporte del siglo XXI, su rápido crecimiento y fama las han llevado a expandirse a todo el mundo y ser uno de los deportes de combate más importantes en la actualidad. En Colombia, ha ido creciendo exponencialmente y cada vez tiene más fanáticos y atletas. Este especial muestra como las MMA se han desarrollado el país, pero contado desde la perspectiva de los entrenadores, empresarios y peleadores. También hace un breve recuento histórico del deporte y su la evolución en todo el mundo a través de los años.
Abstract
Mixed martial arts are considered the sport of the 21st century, their fast growth and fame have led them to expand throughout the world and be one of the most important combat sports nowdays. In Colombia, it has grown exponentially and the number of fans and athletes has increased in the world. This reportage shows how the MMA have been developed in the country through the perspective of coaches, businessmen and fighters. It also has a brief history of the sport and its evolution throughout the world over the years.
