Resumen
Está de moda ser sostenible, está de moda reciclar indaga sobre el uso de materiales reciclados en la industria textil colombiana siendo una investigación sobre la moda sostenible y el uso de materiales reciclados como una alternativa frente a los problemas de contaminación y desperdicio fomentados por la industria textil en Colombia. Esta investigación es útil para resolver los vacíos temáticos de la industria de la moda en el contexto colombiano. Así como para plantear una alternativa para la industria, que podría ser la técnica de confección del siglo XXI y que responde a las exigencias de la época. Ana Martínez Barreiro explica que, según la sociología del vestir, las prácticas de la industria de la moda están condicionadas al tiempo en el que se presentan (Martínez, 2004). Por tanto, se puede resaltar que las necesidades actuales de la sociedad están direccionadas a reducir el impacto ambiental, preservar los recursos para las futuras generaciones e innovar como una condición de la moda.
Abstract
It is fashionable to be sustainable, it is fashionable to recycle it investigates the use of recycled materials in the Colombian textile industry, being an investigation on sustainable fashion and the use of recycled materials as an alternative to the problems of pollution and waste promoted by the industry textile in Colombia. This research is useful to resolve thematic gaps in the fashion industry in the Colombian context. As well as to propose an alternative for the industry, which could be the clothing technique of the 21st century and which responds to the demands of the time. Ana Martínez Barreiro explains that, according to the sociology of clothing, the practices of the fashion industry are conditioned by the time in which they are presented (Martínez, 2004). Therefore, it can be highlighted that the current needs of society are aimed at reducing environmental impact, preserving resources for future generations and innovating as a condition of fashion.
