Factores promotores de los procesos de resiliencia en profesionales de la salud expuestos a estrés laboral y desgaste profesional. Una revisión de alcance de la literatura

dc.descriptionLa resiliencia se comprende como la capacidad de una persona de enfrentar la adversidad y salir fortalecido y transformado de manera positiva. Los profesionales de la salud que se encuentran en entornos laborales adversos están en alto riesgo psicosocial. El propósito de esta revisión de alcance es identificar los factores promotores de los procesos de resiliencia en estos profesionales expuestos a estrés laboral y desgaste profesional. De los 29 estudios incluidos para la síntesis cualitativa final de esta revisión; 10 aportaron a describir factores de riesgo, 14 se centraron en factores promotores y 5 en prácticas orientadas a la promoción de los factores promotores de resiliencia en los profesionales de la salud expuestos a estrés laboral y desgaste profesional. Entre los principales factores de riesgo se identificaron jornada laboral extendida, gran carga administrativa, pérdida de autonomía, sensación de no control de gestión del tiempo, manejo de las situaciones desde las emociones. Como factores promotores de resiliencia la empatía, flexibilidad, realismo, sentido de vocación, manejo de las situaciones desde la racionalidad, habilidades de comunicación, trabajo en equipo, red de apoyo familiar y social. En prácticas orientadas a la promoción de resiliencia se encontraron la atención plena, la autocompasión y la meditación. Los resultados proporcionan evidencia sobre la necesidad de promover la resiliencia en los profesionales de la salud, así como por fomentar ambientes laborales saludables que favorezcan su potencial y desarrollo humano. Esto amortiguará el estrés al que se exponen permanentemente en su práctica y prevendrá su desgaste profesional.spa
dc.description.abstractResilience is understood as the ability of a person to face adversity and emerge strengthened and transformed in a positive way. Health professionals in harsh work environments are at high psychosocial risk. The purpose of this scoping review is to identify the factors that promote resilience processes in these professionals exposed to job stress and burnout. Of the 29 studies included for the final qualitative synthesis of this review; 10 contributed to describe risk factors, 14 focused on promoting factors and 5 on practices aimed at promoting resilience promoting factors in health professionals exposed to work stress and professional burnout. Among the main risk factors were identified extended working hours, great administrative burden, loss of autonomy, feeling of no control of time management, handling of situations from emotions. As factors promoting resilience, empathy, flexibility, realism, sense of vocation, handling of situations from rationality, communication skills, teamwork, family and social support network. In practices aimed at promoting resilience, mindfulness, self-compassion and meditation were found. The results provide evidence on the need to promote resilience in health professionals, as well as to promote healthy work environments that favor their potential and human development. This will cushion the stress they are permanently exposed to in their practice and prevent burnout.spa
