dc.descriptionEl trabajo es un comentario crítico desde el posanarquismo al proyecto liberal, reformista y democrático, del filósofo pragmatista Richard Rorty. Afirmo que el liberalismo rortiano no puede devenir política democrática pragmatista, inspirada en la obra de John Dewey, mientras se defina o se ancle a sí misma en cierta imagen del liberalismo político, una imagen que suscribe Rorty. El trabajo se divide en tres capítulos: el primero da cuenta del proyecto liberal de Rorty señalando la clara herencia que tiene esa posición con respecto a la obra de John Dewey e identificando las críticas que Rorty le reserva a las políticas radicales en general. El segundo capítulo trata de reconstruir la posición radical de los posanarquistas Todd May, Lewis Call y Saul Newman y trata de ligar estas políticas radicales con la política 'radicalmente liberal' de John Dewey no sólo para contestar las réplicas de Rorty hacia la política radical sino sobre todo para mostrar cómo la crítica política de los posanarquistas de hecho complementa el proyecto democrático de Rorty. El tercer capítulo trata de defender la política democrática como una política pragmatista necesariamente radical, señalando el porqué de las similitudes y diferencias políticamente relevantes entre las posiciones de Rorty, Dewey y los posanarquistas. A su vez, en el tercer capítulo se da cuenta de tres casos que consideramos ejemplos de política posanarquista en acción: La Comuna de París de 1871, la revolución zapatista de Chiapas y la revolución de Rojava en el norte de Siria.spa
dc.description.abstractThe work is a critical commentary from post-anarchism to the liberal, reformist and democratic project of the pragmatist philosopher Richard Rorty. I affirm that rortian liberalism can not become a pragmatist democratic politics, inspired by the work of John Dewey, while defining or anchoring itself in a certain image of political liberalism, an image that Rorty subscribes to. The work is divided into three chapters: the first gives an account of the Rorty's liberal project pointing out the clear legacy that that position has with respect to the work of John Dewey, and identifying the criticism that Rorty reserves to radical politics in general. The second chapter attempts to reconstruct the radical position of the post-anarchists Todd May, Lewis Call and Saul Newman and tries to link their radical politics with the 'radically liberal' politics of John Dewey, not only to answer Rorty's replies to radical politics but also, and above all, to show how the political criticism of the post-anarchists in fact complements Rorty's democratic project. The third chapter tries to defend democratic politics as a necessarily radical pragmatist politics, pointing out the reason for the politically relevant similarities and differences between the positions of Rorty, Dewey and the post-anarchists. In turn, in the third chapter, three cases are reported that we consider examples of post-anarchist politics in action: the Paris Commune of 1871, the Zapatista revolution in Chiapas and the Rojava revolution in northern Syria.eng
