dc.description | Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo describir las percepciones sobre el liderazgo ético en una empresa del sector de construcción en la ciudad de Bogotá, Colombia. En el estudio participaron 82 empleados del área de diseño y construcción, quienes respondieron al instrumento ELW (Ethical Leadership at Work). Se describen las características del comportamiento ético de los líderes, de acuerdo con la percepción de los empleados, (integridad, guía ética, orientación a las personas, poder compartido, clarificación de roles y conciencia por la sostenibilidad). El estudio también permitió demostrar que el ELW es un instrumento de medición multidimensional válida y confiable. Los resultados del análisis indicaron una versión final de 63 ítems con índice de consistencia interna de 0.98. De acuerdo con los resultados obtenidos en el estudio, se identificó que el liderazgo ético es percibido como integral, con orientación a la gente, con orientación ética y con una alta preocupación por la sostenibilidad. El liderazgo ético obtiene un 67% de percepción positiva, frente a un 33% de percepción negativa de los empleados hacia sus líderes, específicamente en el área de diseño. | spa |
dc.description.abstract | This research describe the perceptions of ethical leadership in a company of construction in Bogotá, Colombia. Eighty-two employees from the design and construction area participated in the study, responding to the ELW (Ethical Leadership at Work) instrument. The characteristics of the ethical behavior of the leaders are described, according to the perception of the employees, (integrity, ethical guidance, orientation to people, shared power, clarification of roles and awareness of sustainability). The study also allowed to demonstrate that the ELW is a valid and reliable multidimensional measurement instrument. The results of the analysis indicated a final version of 63 items with an internal consistency index of 0.98. According to the results obtained in the study, it was identified that ethical leadership is perceived as integral, people-oriented, ethically oriented and with a high concern for sustainability. Ethical leadership obtains 67% positive perception, compared to 33% negative perception of employees towards their leaders, specifically in the area of design. | spa |
