El nuevo mandato del presidente Uribe se constituye enuna oportunidad para efectuar una revisiÛn del impacto quela adopciÛn y la implementaciÛn de la PolÌtica de Seguri-dad Democr·tica ha tenido en las din·micas y relacionesdel Estado con las organizaciones armadas ilegales.De acuerdo con un conjunto de tendencias que se han idoperfilando a lo largo del ?ltimo aÒo el autor analiza cÛmola implementaciÛn de esta PolÌtica ha afectado las relacio-nes entre el Estado Colombiano y los grupos armados ile-gales, teniendo en cuenta los nuevos retos y los cambiosnecesarios para su sostenibilidad a medio plazo.
Abstract
The new mandate of president Uribe has constituted an opportunity to carry out a revision ofthe impact that the adoption and the implementation of the Policy of Democratic Security hashad in the dynamics and relations of the State with the illegal armed organizations.According to a set of tendencies that have been outlined over the last year the author analyzeshow the implementation of this Policy has affected the relations between the Colombian stateand the illegal armed groups, considering the new challenges and the necessary changes forits sustainability in the mid term.
