Summary
El papel del libro académico es importante para todo el proceso de investigación y difusión del conocimiento. Pero, ¿Cómo comprenden las bibliotecas académicas el libro académico y universitario? En este Boletín Tendencia Editorial No. 31 invitamos a dos líderes de bibliotecas universitarias para que nos cuenten su parecer sobre el rol del libro académico desde su punto de vista como la fuente primaria de estudiantes, investigadores, profesores, y demás comunidad académica. Adicional, entrevistamos a una académica que ha investigado sobre las bibliotecas académicas en Colombia mostrándonos una reflexión sobre los inicios y la actualidad de estas.
Abstract
The role of the academic book is important for the entire process of research and dissemination of knowledge. But how do academic libraries understand the academic and university book? In this Tendencia Editorial Newsletter No. 31, we invite two university library leaders to tell us their views on the role of the academic book from their point of view as the primary source for students, researchers, professors, and the other academic community. Additionally, we interview an academic who has researched academic libraries in Colombia, showing us a reflection on their beginnings and current status.
