Resumen
Teepeekids, surge gracias a un intercambio cultural que realizamos en la ciudad de Boulder - Colorado en Estados Unidos, donde tuvimos la oportunidad de convivir con estadounidenses por un periodo de 6 meses. Durante este tiempo, trabajamos como au pairs cuidando a dos niñas de 4 y 5 años. Fue una increíble experiencia, donde tuvimos en el transcurso de estos meses, vimos las necesidades de muchas mamás y el cuidado de sus hijos, pues al estar trabajando todo el tiempo y no tener la posibilidad de que nadie esté pendiente de ellos, muchas veces se encuentran en peligro o pasan muchas horas en los aparatos electrónicos, provocando así déficit de atención, problemas de aprendizaje: al ser un gran distractora la hora de estudiar, incremento de rabietas: sobre todo en los más pequeños, producto de la sobreestimulación y en algunas ocasiones a causa del contenido de los videos que ven, sedentarismo: Pasar horas frente a la computadora o sentado jugando en el celular o la Tablet unido a una mala alimentación y poco ejercicio, puede provocar una obesidad infantil que podría traer otras enfermedades a temprana edad, adicción, ya que la utilización de estos equipos, introducen al niño en un círculo de recompensa a través de la producción de la dopamina, conocida como la hormona de la felicidad. De este modo, queremos ayudar a estas mamás y a sus hijos a facilitar su vida. Principalmente de estratos 4 en adelante, donde su poder adquisitivo es más alto, puesto que nuestros productos son de alta calidad y de larga durabilidad. A su vez, queremos brindarles a los niños un lugar donde puedan explotar su imaginación, creatividad y aprendizaje al 100% y también dar a las madres la certeza que van a estar seguros.
Abstract
Teepeekids arise thanks to a cultural exchange that we made in the city of Boulder - Colorado in the United States, where we had the opportunity to live with Americans for a period of 6 months. During this time, we worked as au pairs taking care of two girls of 4 and 5 years old. It was an incredible experience, where we had in the course of these months, we saw the needs of many moms and the care of their children, because being working all the time and not having the possibility that no one is aware of them, many times they are in danger or spend many hours on electronic devices, thus causing attention deficit, learning problems: being a great distraction at study time, increase of tantrums: especially in the youngest, due to overstimulation and sometimes because of the content of the videos they watch, sedentary lifestyle: Spending hours in front of the computer or sitting playing on the cell phone or Tablet together with a poor diet and little exercise, can cause childhood obesity that could bring other diseases at an early age, addiction, since the use of these devices, introduce the child in a circle of reward through the production of dopamine, known as the hormone of happiness. In this way, we want to help these moms and their children to make their lives easier. From strata four and up, where their purchasing power is higher since our products are of high quality and long lasting. At the same time, we want to give children a place where they can exploit their imagination, creativity and learning to 100% and give mothers the certainty that they will be safe.
