Resumen
Debido a los problemas de tráfico y a la inexistencia de un sistema de transporte integrado, eficiente y que disminuya los altos tiempos de recorrido de interconexión para los habitantes Bogotá y de los municipios aledaños de la sabana occidental, actualmente se presenta permanente congestión vehicular en las vías de acceso occidental a Bogotá, generando una afectación negativa considerable a la calidad de vida de las personas que habitan esta zona. Por lo anterior, se ha desarrollado el primer Proyecto Férreo de la Región con infraestructura sostenible para ofrecer una alternativa de movilidad mucho más adecuada a las necesidades de la población. El objetivo final del proyecto Regiotram es la construcción de un sistema de transporte que impacte de manera directa y positiva a la región occidental de Bogotá y la sabana, retomando la infraestructura férrea como alternativa para el desarrollo de la región y el país. En ese orden de ideas, en el presente documento se busca analizar los diferentes aspectos involucrados en el desarrollo de una parte del Proyecto Regiotram de Occidente, específicamente el tramo denominado “Ramal Metro”. Así las cosas, fundamentando los conocimientos académicos, se busca con este informe realizar un análisis de la dirección y gestión integral del proyecto en su alcance descrito, basándonos en los principios, herramientas y fundamentos de la Metodología del PMI, obteniendo así la aplicación de procesos y prácticas tradicionales en la Gerencia de Proyectos, para dirigir un proyecto exitoso de principio a fin.
Abstract
Due to traffic problems and the lack of an integrated, efficient transportation system that reduces high interconnection travel times for the inhabitants of Bogotá and the surrounding municipalities of the western savannah, there is currently permanent vehicular congestion on the roads. of western access to Bogotá, generating a considerable negative impact on the quality of life of the people who inhabit this area. Due to the above, the first Railway Project in the Region with sustainable infrastructure has been developed to offer a mobility alternative much more appropriate to the needs of the population. The final objective of the Regiotram project is the construction of a transportation system that directly and positively impacts the western region of Bogotá and the savannah, returning to railway infrastructure as an alternative for the development of the region and the country. In this order of ideas, this document seeks to analyze the different aspects involved in the development of a part of the Western Regiotram Project, specifically the section called “Metro Branch”. Thus, based on academic knowledge, this report seeks to carry out an analysis of the direction and comprehensive management of the project in its described scope, based on the principles, tools and foundations of the PMI Methodology, thus obtaining the application of processes and traditional Project Management practices, to lead a successful project from start to finish.
