Resumen
Juana, Emilia y Tomás son mejores amigos de toda la vida, los tres viven en hogares privilegiados y creen conocer como funciona la vida real, pero su riqueza no los protege de las tragedias individuales que deben enfrentar. Juana lucha con problemas de salud mental y se ve atrapada en el mundo de las drogas ¿Será su supuesta salvación la razón de su perdición? Emilia enfrenta su soledad mientras vive un embarazo no deseado y debate entre quedarse con el niño o abortarlo ¿Será su error más grande su mayor compañia? Tomás lidia con la sombra de quienes parecen saber lo que es mejor para él y rompe este legado uniendose al ejército ¿Traerá la victoria a casa? Ahora, al borde de la vida adulta, deben dejar atrás la seguridad de la adolescencia y enfrentar los desafíos de encontrar su identidad y propósito en una sociedad que no siempre es compasiva con sus debilidades.
Abstract
Juana, Emilia, and Tomás are lifelong best friends. The three of them live in privileged households and believe they know how real life works, but their wealth doesn’t protect them from the individual tragedies they must face. Juana struggles with mental health issues and finds herself trapped in the world of drugs. Will her supposed salvation be the reason for her downfall? Emilia faces her loneliness while dealing with an unwanted pregnancy and debates whether to keep the child or have an abortion. Will her biggest mistake become her greatest companion? Tomás deals with the shadow of those who seem to know what’s best for him and breaks this legacy by joining the army. Will he bring victory home? Now, on the brink of adulthood, they must leave behind the security of adolescence and face the challenges of finding their identity and purpose in a society that isn’t always compassionate with their weaknesses.
