La seguridad en el discurso político chino: armonía, desarrollo y la construcción de un orden alternativo desde la Escuela China de RI y la RSCT

Resumen
La presente investigación tiene la intención de analizar cómo el gobierno chino articula el concepto de seguridad por medio de los discursos oficiales de Xi Jinping y el Partido Comunista Chino, explicando cómo esa articulación dialoga con la Escuela China de Relaciones Internacionales y con la Regional Security Complex Theory (RSCT). Se construyó un corpus de discursos oficiales chinos, identificando y resaltando aquellos párrafos en los que se empleaba la palabra seguridad, para posteriormente aplicar una codificación temática y un análisis de concurrencias con términos como armonía, desarrollo, estabilidad y orden mundial. Los
resultados muestran que la cooperación y el desarrollo aparecen constantemente vinculadas al concepto de seguridad, desplazando del centro del debate la noción de amenaza directa y reforzando la interdependencia regional en Asía-Pacifico.
Abstract
This research aims to analyze how the Chinese government articulates the concept of security through the official discourses of Xi Jinping and the Chinese Communist Party, explaining how this articulation interacts with the Chinese School of International Relations and the Regional Security Complex Theory (RSCT). A corpus of Chinese official speeches was built, identifying and highlighting those paragraphs where the word "security" was used, in order to later apply thematic coding and an analysis of occurrences with terms such as harmony, development, stability, and world order. The results show that cooperation and development are constantly linked to the concept of security, shifting the focus away from the notion of direct threat and reinforcing regional interdependence in the Asia-Pacific.
