dc.description.abstract | In recent years, the number of publications on lumbar interbody fusions has increased considerably. Since 1930, Capener, who was the first person who described an anterior approach to management of spondylolisthesis, to what we know today as minimally invasive surgeries. All this has led to surgery for lumbar interbody fusion has become common to treat different pathologies such as spondylolisthesis, degenerative disc disease, recurrent disk herniations, spinal deformity and nonunion sagittal and coronal plane technique. This descriptive work aims to evaluate the clinical evolution, of degenerative scoliosis in patients undergoing minimally invasive technique XLIF (eXtreme Lateral Interbody Fusion) and OLIF (Oblique Lumbar Interbody Fusion) without posterior instrumentation in the service of Neurosurgery at the Hospital Universitario Mayor (HUM) in Colombia. | eng |
