dc.descriptionLa ruptura posterosuperior del manguito rotador es la lesión más usual entre las rupturas del manguito rotador. El trapecio inferior es la alternativa más anatómica para la transferencia de rupturas irreparables posterosuperiores del manguito rotador, debido a que su origen es craneal al dorsal ancho y medial a la fosa infraespinosa de la escápula, brindándole una línea de tracción similar a la del tendón del infraespinoso. El objetivo de este estudio, es describir la funcionalidad de los pacientes sometidos a la transferencia de la porción inferior del trapecio, mediante un estudio observacional descriptivo, en pacientes menores de 65 años con una lesión irreparable del manguito rotador, intervenidos por un cirujano con experiencia en dicho procedimiento.
dc.description.abstractThe posterosuperior rotator cuff tear is the most common injury among the rotator cuff tears. The lower trapezius is the most anatomical alternative for the transfer of irreparable posterosuperior rotator cuff tears, because its origin is cranial to the latissimus dorsi and medial to the infraspinatus fossa of the scapula, giving it a line of traction similar to that of the tendon of the scapula. infraspinatus. The objective of this study is to describe the functionality of patients undergoing transfer of the lower portion of the trapezius, through a descriptive observational study, in patients under 65 years of age with irreparable rotator cuff injury, operated on by an experienced surgeon. in said procedure.
