Barbosa, researchers at the Universidad del Rosario, to undertake a study of cases of harassment in the culture and leadership of organizations which seem to be inappropriate.

Significant differences in leadership were found, both in culturally different countries and in Latin American countries, despite their cultural similarities. Finally, the sample of managers in this study differs significantly from the other Colombian sample, in some variables of the MLQ. These findings are discussed.
Del liderazgo transaccional al liderazgo transformacional: implicaciones para el cambio organizacional
, Contreras Torres, Francoise Venezia, Barbosa Ramírez, David Hernando
This review article discusses on the importance of change in the evolution and development of organizations and how it must be addressed by the leaders in a different way to traditional, considering the current environment in which organizations have to operate. This raises the need to go beyond transactional leadership best suited to stable environments with greater predictability, toward transformational leadership where instability and uncertainty are usual. The purpose of this study is describing the organizational change from both perspectives, that is, the classical one, in which the organization is understood as a machine and the context´s stability is assumed, and the current trend, in which the organization is considered as an organizational system able to self-organize and that by those means adapts itself to the requirements of increasingly unstable environments. It is proposed that this approach could be more appropriate given the complex conditions in which the organizations operate currently.

, Barbosa Ramírez, David Hernando, Mihi Ramírez, Antonio, Noguera Hidalgo, Ángela Lucía
This paper shows relationships that have been studied between knowledge management and leadership in order to better understand the interaction between both constructs. With this purpose, we have first performed a theoretical review of the central aspects of knowledge management and leadership, and then we have analyzed the relationship between these concepts in order to set perspectives that contribute to the identification of areas and process development for the sustainability of organizations. Our results indicate the existence of a strong relationship between leadership and knowledge management, so companies need greater knowledge about the characteristics of leadership to facilitate the understanding and implementation of best practices in the organization.
