Fiber bag for children, with brown lines. These types of bags are woven when a woman becomes pregnant; the fringes mean the number of children he has, before the baby that is on the way. The woman knits the backpack until finishing the fringes that symbolize the children she has, and instead of finishing the bag, she gives it to the wife of the mother who is going to baptize her baby, so that she can finish it. (This description is the product of the work carried out with the elderly and young people of the Arhuaco people of the Simonorwa region, within the framework of the diploma course that took place between March 25 and 30, 2019).
