Resumen
La presente investigación tiene como objetivo analizar cómo desde 2003 las
acciones militares de Corea de Norte han modificado las políticas de Seguridad y
Defensa del Estado japonés, llevándolo a aumentar su poder militar mediante el
fortalecimiento de sus fuerzas de auto-defensa. A su vez, se estudiará cómo la
amenaza norcoreana ha creado dentro del gobierno nipón la idea de un ejército
ofensivo y la utilización de la energía nuclear con fines armamentistas, sin
cambiar su objetivo pacifista para la solución de controversias. Se utilizarán las
teorías constructivista y de los complejos regionales de seguridad con el fin de ver
cómo se fue construyendo la amenaza que hoy representa Corea del Norte a la
Seguridad de Japón, y entender las dinámicas en materia de seguridad que se
dan entre los dos Estados mencionados.
Abstract
This research aims to analyze how military actions made by North Korea have
changed the Security and Defense policy of Japan since 2003. Furthermore, it
tries to analyze how those actions taken by the regime in North Korea have led
Japanese State to increase its military power, improving their self-defense forces.
Likewise, the research project will analyze how the North Korean threat has
created within Japanese government the idea for making an offensive army and
the use of nuclear energy for weapons purposes. This is not forgetting that the
military increase has not changed the pacifist aim of the Japanese security policy
for solving problems. Finally, the research project will use the theories of
constructivism and regional security complex in order to see how the North
Korean threat has been built and understanding the security dynamics between
Japan and North Korea.
