Emoción, arte e Inteligencia Artificial: ¿Cómo “florecer” en un contexto tecnológico?

Resumen
El arte es un campo a través del cual podemos acercarnos al potencial, los riesgos y las responsabilidades de interacción con la Inteligencia Artificial (IA). En este breve ensayo invito a reflexionar sobre el papel inherente de la tecnología en la historia del arte, describiendo que, pese a las diversas metodologías y técnicas materiales de creación, la experiencia estética se ha mantenido como un rasgo característico de nuestra capacidad para emocionarnos. Lo anterior no intenta menoscabar las particulares de la IA como una herramienta singular con habilidades inquietantes de elección generativa y cada vez más multimodal, sin embargo, dichas características no han emergido de manera aleatoria o espontanea, de hecho, son producto de un marco de evolución tecnológica desarrollada en conjunta interacción. Al final propongo tres modos de interacción artística humano-agente artificial hacia una cocreación floreciente: la complejidad del concepto herramienta, la democratización de la información y la constante validación de nuestra capacidad para ser agentes emocionales y estéticos.
Abstract
Art is a field through which we can approach the potential, risks, and responsibilities of interacting with Artificial Intelligence (AI). In this brief essay, I invite you to reflect on the inherent role of technology in the history of art, describing how, despite the diverse methodologies and material techniques of creation, the aesthetic experience has remained a defining characteristic of our capacity for emotion. This is not intended to diminish the unique characteristics of AI as a singular tool with unsettling generative choice capabilities and an increasingly multimodal nature; however, these characteristics have not emerged randomly or spontaneously. In fact, they are the product of a framework of technological evolution developed through joint interaction. Finally, I propose three modes of human-artificial agent interaction toward a flourishing co-creation: the complexity of the concept of "tool," the democratization of information, and the constant validation of our capacity to be emotional and aesthetic agents.
