Resumen
Este trabajo de grado analiza la alineación de la empresa Seguridad Digital con cuatro Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) de las Naciones Unidas: ODS 5 (Igualdad de Género), ODS 8 (Trabajo Decente y Crecimiento Económico), ODS 9 (Industria, Innovación e Infraestructura) y ODS 10 (Reducción de las Desigualdades). El estudio se basa en un análisis documental de información interna de la empresa, como políticas, informes y planes de acción relacionados con los ODS. Los hallazgos revelan que Seguridad Digital demuestra un compromiso con la implementación de acciones que fomentan los ODS, pero se identifican áreas de mejora en términos de impacto significativo. En cuanto al ODS 5, la empresa promueve la inclusión laboral y el empoderamiento femenino, aunque se sugieren iniciativas para fortalecer el liderazgo de las mujeres. En relación con el ODS 8, se destaca la oferta de trabajo decente, pero se recomienda evaluar opciones de participación accionaria para los empleados y aumentar los incentivos para el compromiso cívico. Para el ODS 9, la adquisición de una nueva sede y la adopción de tecnologías innovadoras reflejan el enfoque en infraestructuras sostenibles, aunque se sugiere la creación de un manual de Gestión Ambiental. Finalmente, respecto al ODS 10, se resalta la inclusión laboral de diferentes estratos socioeconómicos, pero se propone ampliar los programas de prácticas profesionales y proyectos comunitarios. El estudio concluye con un plan de acción que aborda las áreas de mejora identificadas, con el objetivo de fortalecer el compromiso de Seguridad Digital con los ODS y posicionarla como un actor socialmente responsable en la comunidad.
Abstract
This degree work analyzes the alignment of the company Seguridad Digital with four Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations: These are SDG 5 on Gender Equality, SDG 8 on Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 9 on Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure and SDG10 on Reducing Inequalities. This study employs a desk review of organizational documents, which include policies, reports, and action plans pertinent to the SDGs. The findings of the study indicate that Seguridad Digital has the willingness to take actions which support the achievement of the SDGs but has some gaps in terms of the extent of the impact. Specifically, regarding SDG 5, the company is committed to employment equity and women’s advancement, but recommendations to enhance women’s leadership are proposed. In relation to SDG 8, the focus is on the provision of decent work, however, it is suggested to assess the possibilities of shareholding with employees, as well as increasing motivation to engage in civil activities. In relation to the ninth SDG, the purchase of a new headquarters and the adoption of the new technologies are in accordance with sustainable infrastructure, but the creation of an Environmental Management manual is recommended. Regarding SDG 10, the representation of the population living in different socioeconomic conditions in the workforce is highlighted, however, it is recommended to expand the internship programs and community projects. The study concludes with an action plan that addresses the identified areas for improvement, with the aim of strengthening Seguridad Digital's commitment to the SDGs and positioning it as a socially responsible player in the community.
