dc.description	El teatro aplicado es un interlocutor crucial en la esfera pública, un espacio donde se entrelazan lo fenomenológico y lo estructural de los sentimientos de una comunidad, creando nuevas fronteras abstractas. Como un grito de sensibilidad, nos desafía a cuestionar si nuestra perspectiva de la realidad es fiel a las experiencias vividas por todo el colectivo, y, al encarnar al otro, a cruzar fronteras y tender puentes que transformen los márgenes en el centro, aunque sea por un momento (aunque a veces un momento puede construir toda una vida). En esta ponencia, se explora cómo el arte, y en particular el teatro aplicado, puede ser una herramienta poderosa para el cambio de narrativas, el bienestar y la potenciación de la esperanza en comunidades vulnerables. Basada en sus experiencias prácticas con pacientes hospitalarios en Colombia, niños y jóvenes refugiados en Marruecos e Inglaterra, y con personas de la comunidad refugiada LGTBIQ+ ucraniana y rusa en Londres; la autora reflexiona sobre casos específicos donde el arte ha servido como catalizador para la resiliencia, la promoción de la salud mental, la cohesión social y la transformación positiva de las comunidades, destacando el impacto del arte en la creación de espacios para la expresión emocional y la construcción de nuevas narrativas que refuercen la identidad y la esperanza.
dc.description.abstract	Applied theatre is a crucial interlocutor in the public sphere, a space where the phenomenological and structural aspects of a community's feelings intertwine, creating new abstract boundaries. Like a cry of sensitivity, it challenges us to question whether our perspective of reality is faithful to the lived experiences of the entire collective, and, by embodying the other, to cross borders and build bridges that transform the margins into the center, even if only for a moment (although sometimes a moment can build a whole life). This presentation explores how art, and in particular applied theatre, can be a powerful tool for changing narratives, promoting well-being, and empowering hope in vulnerable communities. It draws on practical experience with hospital patients in Colombia, refugee children and youth in Morocco and England, and with members of the Ukrainian and Russian LGBTQ+ refugee communities in London. The author reflects on specific cases where art has served as a catalyst for resilience, the promotion of mental health, social cohesion, and the positive transformation of communities, highlighting the impact of art in creating spaces for emotional expression and building new narratives that reinforce identity and hope.
