Resumen
El Encuentro Nacional de Bandas de Música de Paipa (ENBMP), manifestación cultural incluida en la Lista Representativa del Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial de la Nación, enfrenta desafíos económicos y culturales tras 50 años de existencia. Este estudio de caso con enfoque prospectivo analiza su futuro, identificando fortalezas, debilidades, oportunidades y amenazas. Se propone un modelo de gestión cultural adaptado a las nuevas tendencias económicas y tecnológicas para asegurar la sostenibilidad y proyección internacional del evento. Se realizó un diagnóstico integral, identificando escenarios posibles a 2035 y desarrollando estrategias para CORBANDAS, ente organizador del ENBMP. La investigación se basó en la metodología de la Prospectiva como análisis de hechos históricos, testimonios de expertos y portadores culturales, construyendo así una visión futura más precisa. Se propusieron estrategias para el desarrollo de una nueva visión corporativa para el ente organizador, revitalizando el evento, fortaleciendo la cultura bandística en Colombia y ofreciendo una referencia para eventos similares. El estudio subraya la importancia de adaptar el modelo de gestión cultural a las nuevas tendencias y consolidar alianzas estratégicas para asegurar la relevancia y sostenibilidad del ENBMP en el tiempo.
Abstract
The National Band Music Encounter of Paipa (ENBMP), a cultural manifestation included in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Nation, faces economic and cultural challenges after 50 years of existence. This case study with a prospective approach analyzes its future, identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. It proposes a cultural management model adapted to new economic and technological trends to ensure the sustainability and international projection of the event. A comprehensive diagnosis was carried out, identifying possible scenarios for 2035 and developing strategies for CORBANDAS, the organizing entity of the ENBMP. The research was based on the methodology of Foresight as an analysis of historical events, testimonies of experts, and cultural bearers, thus building a more accurate future vision. Strategies were proposed for developing a new corporate vision for the organizing entity, revitalizing the event, strengthening the band culture in Colombia, and offering a reference for similar events. The study underlines the importance of adapting the cultural management model to new trends and consolidating strategic alliances to ensure the relevance and sustainability of the ENBMP over time.
