Resumen
La venganza, el resentimiento y el perdón son las respuestas más comunes frente a una ofensa. En este escrito, pretendo mostrar la relación que hay entre estos tres elementos en un contexto marcado por la violencia. Expongo que la regulación de dichos estados emocionales en una sociedad depende, en parte, de la mediación estatal pero también de las iniciativas de las propias víctimas. El contexto colombiano y población civil son el telón de fondo del escrito para así darle sentido a los conceptos. En el primer capítulo, exploro el concepto de venganza desde un matiz naturalista. En el segundo, analizo la variante emocional del resentimiento en un plano moral y vital. En el tercer capítulo, llevo a cabo un análisis del perdón incondicional como medio de reparación frente al daño y la injusticia. Por último, presento las conclusiones a partir de la revisión de los conceptos antes expuestos.
Abstract
Revenge, resentment, and forgiveness are the most common responses to an offense. In this writing, I intend to show the relationship between these three elements in a context marked by violence. I expose that the regulation of these emotional states in a society depends, in part, on state mediation but also on the initiatives of the victims themselves. The Colombian context and civilian population are the background of the writing in order to give meaning to the concepts. In the first chapter, I explore the concept of revenge from a naturalistic nuance. In the second, I analyze the emotional variant of resentment on a moral and vital level. In the third chapter, I carry out an analysis of unconditional forgiveness as a means of reparation against damage and injustice. Finally, I present the conclusions from the review of the concepts previously exposed.
