Resumen
Al mencionar la muerte no podemos menos que imaginar nuestra propia finitud y enfrentarnos a la incertidumbre que genera todo en torno a ella. Tampoco podemos ser indiferentes ante la certeza de que constituye radicalmente la propia existencia. Estas dos nociones de incertidumbre y certeza provocan en nosotros una terrible angustia y un ineludible sufrimiento. Por un lado solo podemos imaginar lo que la muerte sería o hacernos solo ideas de lo que esta es por otro tenemos como única certeza que ella se hará efectiva tanto en nosotros como en todos aquellos que conocemos.
Abstract
When mentioning death we cannot help but imagine our own finitude and face the uncertainty that everything around it generates. Nor can we be indifferent to the certainty that it radically constitutes our own existence. These two notions of uncertainty and certainty provoke in us a terrible anguish and inescapable suffering. On the one hand we can only imagine what death would be like or have only ideas of what it is. On the other hand, we have the only certainty that it will become effective both in us and in all those we know.
