dc.descriptionEl trasplante hepático actualmente es considerado como la terapia estándar en pacientes con hepatopatías potencialmente mortales ya que este restaura la función del órgano mejorando la calidad de vida de los pacientes. Infortunadamente entre el 7,6% y el 20% de los trasplantes presentan fallo del injerto secundario a diversas causas, siendo el más frecuente fallo primario del injerto, dando como única opción de tratamiento el retrasplante; estando este asociado a menores tasas de supervivencia.
dc.description.abstractLiver transplantation is currently considered the standard therapy for patients with life-threatening liver disease, as it restores organ function and improves patients' quality of life. Unfortunately, between 7.6% and 20% of transplants experience graft failure secondary to various causes, the most frequent being primary graft failure, leaving retransplantation as the only treatment option; however, this is associated with lower survival rates.
