There are many models of knowledge management and human capital measurement nowadays, which are applied in organizations, but none of these has been designed for higher education institutions. This paper compiles some of the models of knowledge management and intellectual capital more representative, like the Model of knowledge conversion by Nonaka and Takeuchi, the KM model of Arthur Andersen, the Balanced Scorecard of Kaplan and Norton, among others. A theoretical framework, after Star Organizational Model by Galbraith, is presented to characterize a knowledge management model that is applied to university functions of research, extension and teaching at the University CES - Medellin, Colombia. An Hex KM Model is proposed through a qualitative research where, from the correlation between the general theory of KM, particularly of the models and the analysis of the characteristics of the CES University, and a systematic review, the focus group and document analysis.

The article reflects on experiences in collaborative knowledge building and socialization environments from urbanism’s disciplinary field that is developed from a public university space, the Observatory of Urban and Territorial Phenomena articulating the functions of teaching, research and extension. The use of collaborative maps is exposed as a methodology in the teaching–learning process that promotes the recognition and analysis of the metropolitan territory of the province of Tucumán, with indicators and cartography on issues related to public policies and the new urban agenda. Pedagogical experiences are provided as results from the emerging dimensions of planning and urbanism, such as gender, landscape, vulnerability and risk; and innovations and tools replicated in the context of pandemic, social isolation and virtualization of education.

Analyzing Extension Needs of the Spanish Speakers in Florida
, Escobedo, Francisco Javier, Wyman, Miriam, Varela, Sebastián, Asuaje, Cesar, Mayer, Henry, Swisher, Mickie, Hermansen Báez, Annie
Hispanics are the country's fastest growing minority group. The study reported here surveyed and assessed Extension agents from two demographically different regions in Florida on perceptions and attitudes about the need, quality, and dissemination of Spanish Extension materials. Results showed Extension programs are important sources of information for Spanish-speakers from a region with a high population of Hispanics. However, Extension agents do not feel adequately prepared to reach this audience, and resources are insufficient, especially on critical environmental topics relevant to the audience. The study demonstrates the need to develop regionally and culturally relevant Spanish Extension materials for urban Spanish-speakers.
