Abstract
The idea of analyze the social quality in Bogota, using components and issues of the European Network Indicators of Social Quality, motivates the revision of a set of both papers published in international journals and national journalistic investigations broadcasted in print media news. The analysis period of the research is 2003-2009, the main conclusion is: actually enterprises are decaying the four social components. The atmospheric pollution of factories raises the rates of child morbidity and mortality; and labor precariousness of enterprises affect social and economic security. The entrepreneurial policies undermine the family relationships and reduce the rest possibilities; they ruin social cohesion issues. In the social inclusion framework, enterprises are not guaranteeing the universal right to worthy works neither the unemployment compensation, mainly in a country without labor stability. Thanks to the last labor reforms, entrepreneurs bury both union association and collective negotiations and with them the workers social empowerment.
