Resumen
El documento “Energías renovables en La Guajira: desafíos y oportunidades para una transición energética incluyente e intercultural” es el intento por tejer varias reflexiones y pensamientos de las comunidades indígenas Wayuu en torno al significado de la transición energética en sus territorios. Al norte de Colombia, en el departamento de La Guajira, el aprovechamiento del recurso viento se ha consolidado como una de las estrategias más importantes para afianzar el desarrollo de las energías renovables en el país. En el intento por hacer realidad los proyectos de energías renovables en La Guajira y cumplir con la agenda global para combatir el cambio climático, la oralidad y las memorias de los Wayuu emergen como parte del hilo que entreteje un territorio históricamente incomprendido por el Estado colombiano. Desde las enramadas, las cocinas, los corrales, los jagüeyes y los cementerios, la palabra de los Wayuu ha comenzado a tejerse en torno a la nueva metáfora de los alijunas: la transición energética.
Abstract
The document "Renewable energies in La Guajira: challenges and opportunities for an inclusive and intercultural energy transition" is an attempt to weave various reflections and thoughts of the Wayuu indigenous communities around the meaning of the energy transition in their territories. In the north of Colombia, in the department of La Guajira, the use of the wind resource has been consolidated as one of the most important strategies to ensure the development of renewable energies in the country. In the attempt to make renewable energy projects in La Guajira a reality and comply with the global agenda to combat climate change, orality and the memories of the Wayuu emerge as part of the thread that weaves together a territory historically misunderstood by the Colombian State. From the bowers, the kitchens, the corrals, the jagüeyes and the cemeteries, the word of the Wayuu has begun to be woven around the new metaphor of the alijunas: the energy transition.
