Resumen

LegalMeet® es una plataforma que conecta de manera innovadora, simple y eficiente las necesidades de contratación de servicios legales (abogado) con las necesidades de los profesionales jurídicos en ofertar sus servicios y fortalecer su imagen profesional. La visión a largo plazo de LegalMeet® se centra en ser un ecosistema que convierte el alto número de abogados en Colombia en una ventaja social y no en un obstáculo, fortaleciendo la confianza y la transparencia; democratizando la prestación de servicios legales y el acceso efectivo a la justicia.

Abstract

LegalMeet® is a platform that innovatively, simply, and efficiently connects the needs of individuals seeking to hire legal services (attorneys) with the needs of legal professionals to offer their services and strengthen their professional image. LegalMeet®’s long-term vision is to become an ecosystem that transforms the high density of lawyers into a social advantage rather than an obstacle, strengthening trust and transparency, democratizing the provision of legal services, and ensuring effective access to justice. LegalMeet® will allow users of legal services in Colombia to access reviews of the legal professionals registered on our platform, enabling them to validate—prior to hiring—the ratings and feedback given by previous clients of the attorney they intend to hire. This will provide users with greater knowledge and support when choosing a legal professional. It will also allow registered legal professionals to compete based on price and quality. In other words, professionals who offer better services and receive more favorable reviews from their clients will be able to increase their fees by competing through quality and service; meanwhile, those who are just beginning their careers will be able to compete through pricing, thereby democratizing Colombian legal services for both users and legal professionals. LegalMeet® is characterized by its commitment to innovation, simplicity, efficiency, security, collaboration, and integrity. In this way, LegalMeet® aims to transform and dignify the legal sector by promoting transparent practices and professional ethics.
