| dc.description.abstract | In the context of higher education, faculty mental health has become a pressing concern, especially given the increasing levels of stress, emotional exhaustion, and workload that often affect their well-being. These challenges impact their quality of life and create negative effects on both teaching processes and educational environments. In response to this reality, PriorizARTE was developed as an innovative virtual pedagogical proposal that encourages faculty to recognize themselves as individuals deserving care, promoting psycho-emotional well-being through art therapy. The proposal was created using the Design Thinking methodology, a user-centered approach that identified real needs and based on these, developed an innovative and unique solution: an accessible space where educators can manage their emotions. Unlike other initiatives, the PriorizARTE virtual platform focuses on art as a catalyst for fostering faculty autonomy, serving as a foundation for personal development. In the long term, the goal is to build a user community that overcomes stigma and taboos, encouraging higher education institutions nationwide to adopt this proposal as part of their faculty’s well-being policies. | |
