| dc.description | Las personas privadas de la libertad, tienen derecho a una atención integral en salud, la cual se constituye en una de las responsabilidades del Estado, desde el mismo momento en el que dicha población está en custodia de las Instituciones Penitenciarias y Carcelarias. El objetivo del presente trabajo fue realizar una revisión de literatura integrativa, sobre la prestación de servicios de salud de las personas privadas de la libertad, con el fin de identificar estrategias de intervención ejecutadas por las instituciones penitenciarias, en relación a la atención médica, intervenciones en salud mental y beneficios de servicios oportunos. La revisión de 375 resúmenes de artículos, que permitieron seleccionar 43 artículos, incluyó dos aspectos claves que se constituyen en un reto para los Estados, como son el acceso a la atención médica, la situación de grupos de alta vulnerabilidad desde el enfoque de género, edad y diferentes patologías profundizando en la salud mental, para finalizar con una revisión de los beneficios de implementar políticas y estrategias para una prestación de servicios oportunos. | spa |
| dc.description.abstract | Persons deprived of liberty have the right to comprehensive health care, which is determined in a situation of social responsibility, from the moment the population is in the custody of the Prison and Penitentiary Institutions. The aim of this study was to conduct a review of the integrative literature on the provision of health services for people deprived of their liberty, with the aim of identifying intervention strategies implemented for prison institutions in relation to the care provided medical in mental health and benefits of timely services. The review of 375 abstracts of articles, which allowed selecting 43 articles, including two key aspects that may constitute a resource for the States, such as access to medical care, the situation of high-gravity groups from the gender, age and different pathologies that deepen mental health, for a review of the benefits of the implementation of strategies and strategies for the provision of timely services. | eng |
