Cultura de la innovación, definiciones y elementos característicos: revisión sistemática de la literatura y agenda de investigación

dc.descriptionLa noción de cultura de la innovación CI ha sido ampliamente utilizada en diferentes ámbitos, sin embargo, a pesar de su amplio uso y relevancia, no existe una definición consensuada del concepto ni de los factores que le afectan. Esta falta de definiciones y de claridad teórica, se ha convertido en un reto para los investigadores, quienes, en los últimos quince años, han aumentado exponencialmente las intervenciones científicas relacionadas a este concepto pretendiendo facilitar el diseño de estrategias orientadas a integrar una filosofía de la innovación en el ADN de una organización, elaborar políticas de innovación y mejorar el diálogo académico, pues no existe una base conceptual sólida en torno a este. Para abordar estas cuestiones, este artículo ofrece una revisión sistemática de literatura que se formula las siguientes preguntas: ¿Cómo ha sido definida la cultura de innovación en la literatura académica? ¿Qué factores caracterizan la cultura de innovación? Estas preguntas se responden a través de la recopilación de información bibliográfica de textos de conferencia y artículos de la plataforma Scopus (información analizada con base en la metodología de Onwuegbuzie & Frels (2016)) y la elaboración de matrices que describen las más relevantes (por su repetición en la literatura) dimensiones que se han encontrado al estudiar y analizar la historia del concepto. Los hallazgos de la investigación coinciden con otros estudiosos de la CI en que (1) aún no existe una definición establecida del concepto; y contribuye con descubrimientos tales como (2) que los factores que caracterizan la CI tampoco están estandarizados del todo, pues algunos de los mencionados en la literatura comparten definiciones similares, pero diferencias en sus nombres o formas de medición; los resultados permiten construir las bases que permitan proponer una agenda de investigación.es
dc.description.abstractThe notion of IC innovation culture has been widely used in different fields, however, despite its wide use and relevance, there is no agreed definition of the concept or the factors that affect it. This lack of definitions and theoretical clarity has become a challenge for researchers, who, in the last fifteen years, have exponentially increased scientific interventions related to this concept to facilitate the design of strategies aimed at integrating a philosophy of innovation into the DNA of an organization, develop innovation policies and improve academic dialogue, since there is no solid conceptual basis around it. To address these issues, this article offers a systematic literature review that asks the following questions: How has innovation culture been defined in the academic literature? What factors characterize innovation culture? These questions are answered through the collection of bibliographic information from conference texts and articles from the Scopus platform (information analyzed based on the methodology of Onwuegbuzie & Frels (2016)) and the elaboration of matrices that describe the most relevant (due to their repetition in the literature) dimensions that have been found when studying and analyzing the history of the concept. The research findings agree with other scholars of IC in that (1) there is still no established definition of the concept; and it contributes with findings such as (2) that the factors that characterize IC are not entirely standardized either, as some of those mentioned in the literature share similar definitions, but differences in their names or ways of measurement; the results allow building the bases that allow proposing a research agenda.es
