dc.descriptionDiferentes tipos de organizaciones están envueltas tanto por la naturaleza propia de su industria como por adaptación a la gestión de retorno de productos. Su importancia ha crecido debido a su aplicabilidad en diferentes contextos y aportes al desarrollo operativo de las empresas. De la misma manera, la investigación en este campo y en cuanto a publicaciones ha venido mostrando un aumento exponencial desde inicios del siglo 21. Esto debido a la amplia gama de temas y variables que se pueden abordar a través de este concepto y que cada vez encuentran más aplicaciones en industrias que le apuestan a propuestas y modelos sostenibles a futuro. El objetivo de este trabajo de investigación es hacer una revisión de literatura y del estado del arte respecto a la gestión de retorno de productos, conceptualizando el tema, sus desafíos y enfoques. Finalmente, se propone una discusión sobre hallazgos de interrelación entre las buenas prácticas encontradas para sugerir oportunidades de investigación sobre estos modelos o estrategias.
dc.description.abstractDifferent types of organizations are involved both due to the inherent nature of their industry and by adapting to product return management. Its importance has grown due to its applicability in different contexts and contributions to the operational development of companies. Similarly, research in this field and regarding publications has shown an exponential increase since the beginning of the 21st century. This is due to the wide range of topics and variables that can be addressed through this concept, which increasingly find applications in industries that are committed to sustainable proposals and models for the future. The objective of this research paper is to conduct a literature review and state-of-the-art analysis regarding product return management, conceptualizing the topic, its challenges, and approaches. Finally, a discussion is proposed on the findings of interrelation between the good practices found to suggest research opportunities on these models or strategies.
